Cherie Komachi Style Blitz

Welcome to the first edition of Style Blitz. This edition's style is a mix of the popular and littleknown. Let's start with the Mew Hair from Irollic. It's been a long time since I've seen such a refreshing take on a hair. The well executed braids that hang naturally yet exotically down the back and round the neck are guaranteed attention catchers. The asymmetry and grace of this one are hard to beat.

More well known than Irollic is thefashion label Mimikri, whose clothes often make it to the look du jour for fashionistas in SL, no small feat at all. You might have seen the Calypso diaphonous skirts in some famous girl's flickr or this jacket on a supermodel. This City Cat jacket has been in the market for a while, but it's so stylish you'll wear it again and again. It matches the skirt from the little known Charmed to a ruffle in in its playful extravagance. I'm glad I bought the ginormous pack of ETD's pumps because they come in all colors imaginable to suit any outfit.

My perennial favorite for eyes are the creations of the untiring Miriel, who, if it's up to me, should be the first address for eyes for everyone. At L$50 per pair Miriel's eyes are unbeatable and I never bother to look for other suppliers. Check out the generous free box of eyes to get a look of what Miriel can do. Not so cheap is on the other hand the skins from Redgrave. The model is wearing Sakura skin, both the pale and tanned version. The combination of skin and shape is one of the rare successfully made real Asian looks. To crown off the whole look, do not forget the exaggerated disco lashes from Celestial Studios.

Good news everyone, now I am offering Finlandia shape and skins. Yep, I finally I've mastered the brush and painted four makeups (well, actually five) to accompany my newest shape Finlandia. From its name you could probably guess that Finlandia is a cool look of a northern beauty. And because even in Scandinavian there are still seasons, the four makeups are:

1. Finlandia in Spring: cool pastel colors
2. Finlandia in Summer: warm bright colors
   
3. Finlandia in Autumn: warm muted colors
4. Finlandia in Winter: cool icy colors
